Baseball Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short

Sierra and Golden West squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sierra had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trailblazers, falling 10-4. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sierra saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Lloyd, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Golden West, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-17 record.

Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden West, they will square off against Wasco at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
