Baseball Recap: Jarrell Takes a Loss

Jarrell fell victim to Lampasas and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Lampasas Badgers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Badgers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jarrell has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. Lampasas' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3-2.

While Jarrell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
