The Daniel Academy snaps nine-game streak of wins at home

If The Daniel Academy Lions were feeling good off their 59-31 takedown of Ozanam last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Daniel Academy took a 55-36 bruising from Training Center Christian on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that The Daniel Academy let down their fans at home.

Training Center Christian found their leader in underclassman Creed Lopez, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals. Lopez is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Alex Bryan was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.

The Daniel Academy's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5. As for Training Center Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

The Daniel Academy will head out on the road to challenge Blue Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Training Center Christian, they will be playing at home against Frontier School of Excellence at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Frontier School of Excellence is ranked 339th, while Training Center Christian is ranked 342nd).
