Round Valley waltzed into their match on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Everything went their way against the Bisbee Pumas as they made off with a 13-5 victory. Considering the Elks have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Carla Arreola was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Autum Webster and Ruth Wiltbank did most of the damage at the plate: Webster went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Wiltbank went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kelci Walker, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Round Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in nine consecutive contests.

Round Valley pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.9 runs over those games. As for Bisbee, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-11.

As of now, neither Round Valley nor the Pumas have any future games scheduled.
