Basketball Recap: Snow Canyon Skates Past Summit Academy with Ease

Snow Canyon won the last time they faced Summit Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors took their game with ease, bagging an 82-55 win over the Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Reggie MacKay had an outrageously good game as he shot 70% from the field to rack up 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Issaiah Thompson, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points and five boards.

Snow Canyon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Summit Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Snow Canyon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Summit Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
