Basketball Recap: Bullard Takes a Loss

Bullard has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Longview Lobos. The Panthers lost against the Lobos in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-32 score last time.

Bullard's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Longview, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bullard will welcome Marshall Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Longview, they will be playing at home against Rockwall-Heath at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Rockwall-Heath is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season.
