Baseball Recap: Liberty County Takes a Loss

Liberty County's last matchup with Holmes County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Bulldogs lost 15-0 to the Blue Devils. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Liberty County's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Holmes County, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Coming up, Liberty County will square off against Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seahawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Holmes County, they will take on North Bay Haven Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.7 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
