Softball Recap: False River Comes Up Short

False River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 19-14 to the Plaquemine Green Devils. Even if the Gators couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Ramie Guidroz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Chanler Aucoin, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

False River's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Plaquemine, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

As of now, neither False River nor Plaquemine have any future games scheduled.
