Basketball Recap: Byron Comes Up Short

Byron lost against Lakeville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Byron Eagles came up short against the Lakeville Falcons, falling 51-31. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Byron's record now sits at 5-12. As for Lakeville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7.

Byron and Lakeville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Byron will challenge New Lothrop at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 444 places (532 vs. 88). Similarly, Lakeville (ranked 328th) will meet Ovid-Elsie (ranked 127th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
