Kaden Carter Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.

The victory (which was Lamar County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Social Circle at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Rashod Daniel Delivers Best Performance of Season

Putnam County was led to victory by Rashod Daniel, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Putnam County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Putnam County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Daniel and Putnam County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jasper County at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Hardge Posts Huge Game in 38-19 Win

Jameccus Hardge's big game helped extend Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. McNair had no answer to Hardge as he rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.

Hardge might have his next game, a home matchup with Jasper County, circled on his calendar. Hardge rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hurricanes duked it out back in October of 2023.
