Volleyball Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Norwalk suffered their biggest defeat since August 16th on Thursday. They came up short against the Columbian Tornadoes, falling 3-0. If the Truckers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Tornadoes when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-20.

Sydney Moehlman paced Norwalk's offense, picking up eight kills. Moehlman got some help from Emily Tyler and her 16 assists. Tyler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leading Columbian to victory were Emma Daugherty and Cam Haman. Daugherty had ten digs, while Haman had ten digs and two assists. Those ten digs gave Haman a new career-high.

Norwalk's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Columbian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Norwalk wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Monroeville on the 17th. As for Columbian, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Mohawk on the 13th.
