Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastwood). They put the hurt on the Coronado Thunderbirds with a sharp 7-2 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Troopers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Eastwood's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Coronado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season.

Eastwood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Coronado, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Socorro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coronado is facing Socorro at the right time seeing as Socorro is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
