Page piles up the points against Alchesay

Recap: Page Sand Devils vs. Alchesay Falcons

The Page Sand Devils entered their tilt with the Alchesay Falcons with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Page simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Alchesay 74-43 at home. Page's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Page got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sofia Cambridge out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Cambridge hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of LeLaura Yazzie, who scored eight points along with seven assists and five steals.

Despite the loss, Alchesay still got an impressive performance from Jazlyn Nosie, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Imonie Beach, who scored six points.

Page is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Alchesay, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.

Page does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alchesay, they will head out on the road to face off against Thatcher at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Thatcher has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
