Berea hadn't done well against Jackson County recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Pirates came out on top against the Generals by a score of 2-0. The Pirates were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Generals, so the Pirates were just returning the favor.

The win made it two in a row for Berea and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for Jackson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea will face off against Model at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jackson County, they will square off against Williamsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
