After losing to Cimarron the last time they met, Ulysses decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers skirted past the Bluejays 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Ulysses had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-16, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Cimarron still got an impressive performance from Kynlee Frink, who had 19 digs.

Ulysses' victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Cimarron, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-7.

Ulysses has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Holcomb on the 27th. As for Cimarron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lakin on the 27th.
