Rison's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They didn't even let the Bauxite Miners on the board, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 15-0 shutout. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rison's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Bauxite, they moved to 17-8 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Rison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-0 win against McGehee on the 2nd. Bauxite has also already played their next contest (against Fountain Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
