Volleyball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Garner Trojans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-5, 25-11.

Garner's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savannah Wilkins, who had ten digs and one assist. Anna Claire Jinnette also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Garner, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
