Baseball Preview: Glenn Falcons vs. Westville Blackhawks
Glenn has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Westville Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. In other batting news, Joey Villarreal was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Rory Bradney was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI.
Glenn now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Westville, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.
Everything went Glenn's way against Westville in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 as Glenn made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glenn since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
