Basketball Preview: Bolton Wildcats vs. Bolivar Central Tigers

The Bolton Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bolivar Central Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Even though Haywood scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Bolton still came out on top. Bolton snuck past the Tomcats with a 69-64 victory. The win was just what Bolton needed coming off of a 77-56 loss in their prior matchup.

E'derian Washington and Kylan Collins were among the main playmakers for Bolton as the former scored 21 points and the latter scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Collins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Caswell, who scored nine points.

Meanwhile, Bolivar Central waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They secured a 57-52 W over Fayette Ware.

Bolton's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Bolivar Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
