Basketball Recap: Springfield International Charter School Takes a Loss

Springfield International Charter School and Newton North squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Springfield International Charter School had to settle for second. They took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newton North Tigers. The defeat leaves the Bulldogs still looking for their first win of the season.

Springfield International Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Newton North, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 24-1.

Springfield International Charter School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton North, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-49 victory against Central on the 11th.
