Volleyball Recap: Imagine School at North Port Comes Up Short

Imagine School at North Port came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the North Port Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-10.

Alesa Davis paced Imagine School at North Port's offense, picking up three kills. Davis got some help from Mallory Gordon and her four assists. Ariana Howard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Imagine School at North Port's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Port, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Imagine School at North Port is taking a road trip to square off against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Port, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Charlotte at 7:00 p.m.
