Basketball Recap: Humboldt Comes Up Short

Humboldt lost against Neodesha back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cubs lost to the Blue Streaks at home by a 50-32 margin. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Neodesha, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1-1.

Humboldt and Neodesha will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Cubs see the court they'll take on St. Mary's-Colgan at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for Neodesha, their break will end when they face Sedan at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
