Sterling owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Riverside Rams. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Casey Kozeniewski looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Evan Miller was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory was the third in a row for Sterling, bringing their record up to 16-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside, they will challenge Pennington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
