Football Game Preview: Windermere Wolverines vs. Lake Buena Vista Vipers + How To Watch

The Windermere Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Lake Buena Vista Vipers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Windermere's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Last Friday, Windermere was fully in charge, breezing past East River 45-6. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Windermere got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaylen Davis out in front who picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Those 116 receiving yards gave Davis a new career-high. Henry Rogers was in the mix as well, providing Windermere with two scores.

Windermere was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Windermere didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Braylen Speed and Eddie Russomanno. Another thorn in East River's side was Elijah Mosby, who picked up two sacks and made five total tackles.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lake Buena Vista's offense. They were beaten by West Orange 49-0 on Friday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Vipers were not able to get on the board.

Lake Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Windermere, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything came up roses for Windermere against Lake Buena Vista in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-7 win. In that game, the Wolverines amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
