Volleyball Recap: Tokay Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Tokay faced off against Big Valley Christian on Saturday. The Tokay Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Big Valley Christian Lions. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Rian Dimalanta paced Tokay's offense, picking up six kills. Dimalanta got some help from Rohan Bhakta and his 13 assists. Ethan Presley Vang controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Tokay's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Big Valley Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Tokay has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Center on the 1st. As for Big Valley Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against El Capitan on the 1st.
