Volleyball Recap: Philip Simmons Comes Up Short

The Philip Simmons Iron Horses came up short against the Summerville Green Wave on Wednesday and fell 2-0. The Iron Horses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Philip Simmons ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17.

Philip Simmons' loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Summerville, they pushed their record up to 29-6 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Philip Simmons will welcome Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summerville, they will take on Blythewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
