Basketball Recap: Macie Gustin Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Park City

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Tooele's strategy against Park City on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for the Tooele Buffaloes in a 51-37 victory over the Park City Miners. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffaloes.

Tooele's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Macie Gustin, who went 5 of 12 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. Gustin is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Searle, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Park City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Radziukinas, who posted 13 points. Hadley Flach was another key player, putting up ten points.

Tooele is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Park City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
