Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Comes Up Short

Cedar Creek was the 5-1 winner over Glenbrook when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apaches on Monday.

Cedar Creek's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-15. As for Glenbrook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9-1 record this season.

While Cedar Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
