Softball Recap: Lowell Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Lowell had won six straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 11-1 to make it seven. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Allendale Falcons. The Red Arrows might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by nine runs or more this season.

As for Allendale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 12-7 Greenville and 11-7 Greenville (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 76.7% over those games).

For Allendale's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ileigh Torp, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Kenedie Curtis was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Coming up, Lowell will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenville at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Red Arrows surely won't give up without a fight. As for Allendale, they are taking a road trip to take on Covenant Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
