Volleyball Recap: Dominican Academy Comes Up Short

Dominican Academy lost 3-0 to the Christ the King Royals on Wednesday.

Dominican Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-18.

Christ the King was led to victory by Sofia Correa and Angelina Pardo. Correa had 23 assists and two aces, while Pardo had ten digs.

Dominican Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Christ the King, the win keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

As of now, neither Dominican Academy nor Christ the King have any future games scheduled.
