Basketball Game Preview: KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs vs. Idabel Warriors

The KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Idabel Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. KIPP Tulsa University Prep will be strutting in after a win while Idabel will be coming in after a loss.

KIPP Tulsa University Prep will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 29-point drubbing they dealt Mingo Valley Christian on Tuesday. KIPP Tulsa University Prep simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mingo Valley Christian 62-33. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Idabel came up short against Broken Bow on Tuesday and fell 47-34. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory (which was KIPP Tulsa University Prep's third in a row) raised their record to 10-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Idabel, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

KIPP Tulsa University Prep ended up a good deal behind Idabel in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, losing 75-59. Can KIPP Tulsa University Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
