Basketball Recap: Silver Creek Takes a Loss

Silver Creek lost against Frewsburg back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Silver Creek Black Knights fell 55-43 to the Frewsburg Bears.

Kael Collver continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Frewsburg, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Collver a new career-high in assists (four). Jaden Collver was another key player, putting up eight points and 13 rebounds.

Silver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Frewsburg, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will head out to square off against Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Randolph will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Silver Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Frewsburg, they will venture away from home to face off against Gowanda at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
