Upper Perkiomen Gets a Boost from Schwartz in 37-9 Win

Starting off the list is Upper Perkiomen's Zach Schwartz, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Schwartz rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. He is becoming a predictor of Upper Perkiomen's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 4-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Upper Perkiomen now has a winning record of 5-4. Schwartz and Upper Perkiomen will welcome Methacton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Deacon Williams Delivers Electric Effort Vs Pottsgrove

Phoenixville picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deacon Williams. Williams was unstoppable, rushing for 185 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.

Pottsgrove had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Williams it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Williams saw the Falcons), he rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.

Luke Terlesky and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Pope John Paul II picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Luke Terlesky. Terlesky was dynamite, throwing for 223 yards and five touchdowns on only ten passes, while also rushing for 31 yards.

Pope John Paul II pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Perkiomen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mikhi Dargan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pottsgrove over Phoenixville

While Mikhi Dargan delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pottsgrove. Dargan was unstoppable, rushing for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards.

This year, Dargan has run in 17 touchdowns while averaging 127.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he had six rushing touchdowns.
