Volleyball Recap: Irvington Comes Up Short

Irvington suffered their biggest defeat since April 1st on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the James Logan Colts. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Colts: they've now lost six in a row.

Irvington was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made James Logan work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-21.

Leading James Logan to victory were Travis Bui and Desmond Brooks. Bui had 22 assists and five digs, while Brooks had 13 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Bui has posted since back in April.

Irvington's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for James Logan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Irvington nor James Logan have any future games scheduled.
