Basketball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 50-39 to the Lodi Flames. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-42 back in January.

West's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Lodi, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

West and Lodi should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. West (ranked 270th) will meet Kimball (ranked 590th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Lodi will face off against St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 143 places (122 vs. 265).
