Basketball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier was the 61-49 winner over Ripley when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ripley, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier will welcome Deer Creek-Lamont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ripley, they will host Earlsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
