Soccer Recap: Newman Catholic Takes a Loss

Newman Catholic lost against Amherst on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fighting Cardinals lost 7-0 to the Falcons. Newman Catholic have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Newman Catholic now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Amherst, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Newman Catholic is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbus Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Amherst will take on rival Northland Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
