Volleyball Recap: Kings Starts off Right with Win over Winton Woods

Kings had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Winton Woods Warriors on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kings took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-13.

Sophia Richardson paced Kings' offense, picking up eight kills. Richardson got some help from Anabelle Seni and her 20 assists. Alana Burke controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kings will face off against rival Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Winton Woods is set to challenge their familiar foe Turpin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
