Basketball Recap: Twinsburg Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Twinsburg hadn't done well against Barberton recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Twinsburg Tigers came out on top against the Barberton Magics by a score of 66-58. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 73-57 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Barberton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kardiay Tyler, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Tyler has become a key player for Barberton: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 20 points, but 6-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of De'Arion Holley, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 17 boards.

Twinsburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Barberton, they dropped their record down to 10-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
