Basketball Recap: New Rockford-Sheyenne Now 13-3 over Last 16 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Rockford-Sheyenne had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 46-38 win over the North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Eagles last Thursday, they had to take a 55-46 defeat.

New Rockford-Sheyenne has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] and nudges their season record down to 23-4.

New Rockford-Sheyenne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-57 victory against Hankinson on the 22nd.
