There's no place like home for Morgan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Layton Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

One reason for the win was Morgan's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-12.

Morgan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jerstyn Payne led the charge by getting 15 digs and four assists.

Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Layton Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
