Analy dropped down to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 60-35 to the Maria Carrillo Pumas. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 49-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Maria Carrillo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Considering they have won three matchups by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Estefan Ramirez had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Bluestone, who threw for 75 yards and two TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Analy will take on St. Vincent de Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maria Carrillo, they will square off against Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pumas will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
