Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Lawndale Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lawndale, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Centennial is set to square off against their familiar foe Culver City at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lawndale will face off against rival Beverly Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
