Basketball Recap: Mountain House Takes a Loss

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Mountain House faced off against Clovis North on Tuesday. The Mountain House Mustangs had to suffer through a 73-38 loss at the hands of the Clovis North Broncos. The Mustangs were probably out for revenge after losing 87-45 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Defeat or not, Mountain House got some senior leadership from Shamar Jones and Coldin Parker. Jones posted 14 points and eight boards, while Parker had ten points along with eight boards and three steals. That's the most boards Jones has posted since back in November of 2024.

Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Clovis North, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-4.

Mountain House wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 87-47 victory against Patterson on the 8th. As for Clovis North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-60 win against Clovis East on the 10th.
