Volleyball Recap: Findlay Trojans vs. Whitmer Panthers
Findlay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Whitmer Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.
While Findlay was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-13.
Davinee Harris paced Findlay's offense, picking up ten kills. Harris got some help from Anika Helms and her 27 assists. Maggie Crates controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Findlay's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Whitmer, they pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
Findlay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Waite on the 2nd. As for Whitmer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Napoleon on the 2nd.
