On Monday Jacob Martinez pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The effort marked the fewest hits Martinez has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 3.09 over 11.3 innings pitched.
