Basketball Recap: Sam Rayburn Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Sam Rayburn came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Tom Bean Tomcats by a score of 53-43. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Tomcats are ranked 974th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Tom Bean still got an impressive performance from Dyson Farris, who posted 18 points. Garrett Kelly was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points.
