Recap: Middletown Blue Dragons vs. Bristol Eastern Lancers

After a string of nine wins, the Middletown Blue Dragons's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Bristol Eastern 51-46. Middletown's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4. As for Bristol Eastern, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Middletown will look to defend their home court on Monday against Berlin at 6:45 p.m. Middletown is coming into the game with six straight losses at home, meaning Berlin will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Bristol Eastern will take on Bristol Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Bristol Central is ranked 60th, while Bristol Eastern is ranked 37th).
