After a string of five wins, Oak Level Baptist Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raleigh Christian Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Conquerors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 20-25, 25-20.

Raleigh Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Becki Harris led the charge by getting nine kills and five aces. Those nine kills gave Harris a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Wagenschutz, who had ten kills and seven digs.

Oak Level Baptist Academy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Raleigh Christian Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Oak Level Baptist Academy will venture away from home to take on White Plains Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Raleigh Christian Academy, they will host Fayetteville Street Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
