Basketball Recap: Knappa Skates Past Gaston with Ease

Knappa had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gaston Greyhounds 54-22. The Loggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Knappa pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points per game. As for Gaston, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Knappa will challenge Faith Bible Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gaston has already played their next match (against Columbia Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
